How to Root your Android Phone

Note:
This rooting tutorial works perfectly on Samsung Galaxy y. I haven't tried this on other android devices. I'm not liable if you'll brick your phone by following this tutorial. You can Proceed at your own Risk.

Steps on How to Root your Android Phone:

1.     Download update.zip. Click Here.
2.     Connect your Phone to your Computer.
3.     Copy and Paste update.zip directly on your phone's SD card.
4.     Disconnect your Phone to your Computer.
5.     Turn Off your Phone.
6.     Boot your Phone into Recovery Mode by Holding the keys
        Volume UP + Home Button + Power Button
7.     While in Recovery mode, you cannot use your Phone's Touch Screen so you can use volume "UP and
        Down" to navigate your selections and "Home" key to make your selection.
8.     Select "apply update from sdcard" and press the Home key
9.     Choose the update.zip and Click "Yes"
10.   After the patch is done, Select "reboot system now"
11.   After the reboot, open the menu. if you can find the app "Superuser", then it means that you have
        successfully rooted your phone.
